Contempt petitions are filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 70/71 to punish the respondent herein for his act of wilful disobedience of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.20474 and 20475 of 2014 dated 07.10.2014.

Government Advocate appearing for the respondent has produced the copy of the proceedings in Letter No.28621/C2/2014-11, dated 15.03.2016 reporting pendency of the writ appeals in W.A. SR.Nos.35337, 35341, 35346, 35356, 35351 and 35361 of 2014.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that writ appeals have already been dismissed. 3.

Be that as it may, this Court does not find any willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court. However, in view of the submissions made that the writ appeals as referred to in the letter dated 15.03.2016 are stated to have been dismissed, the petitioners are directed to submit fresh representations to the respondent indicating the same.
