This writ petition is filed to direct the third respondent to Survey the Gramanatham land measuring 72 sq.mtrs. with a house thereon comprised in Gramanatham Old Survey No.38, Patta No.410, as per patta New Survey No.212/24, situated at Pethanaickenpalayam Village, Salem District consequently demarcate its four boundaries within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was acquired by the petitioner by an Order of the Tahsidar vide proceedings dated 30.09.1988 and patta has also been issued to the petitioner on 11.05.2018. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the petitioner has given an application on 27.07.2020 followed by a reminder on 06.07.2023 to survey the said property and demarcate its four boundaries. However, the same has not been considered by the third respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the third 2/4

respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.06.2022 and 06.07.2023 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation for survey of the property and demarcate the boundaries after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
