This Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the order of the 2nd respondent bearing F. No.52/CC/TN/16/2014-FF (SZ) dated 19.02.2015 as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law and consequently direct the respondents to pay the Freedom Fighter's Dependant's Family Pension to the petitioner under Swathanthira Sainik Samman Pension Scheme from the date when her husband died viz., 23.08.2012 and continue to pay the pension and pass such other orders.
