O R D E R
This writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to furnish the information sought for through online dated 09.03.2025 and 10.03.2025, within the time limit fixed by this Court.
2. With the consent of both side counsels the main writ petition is taken up for disposal.
3. The petitioner states that she applied online for the post of Sanitary Inspector. Upon scrutiny of her application by the respondent's office a hall ticket was issued enabling her to write the entrance examination. The petitioner successfully cleared the examination and was subsequently called for an oral interview and for certificate verification in January 2025. According to the petitioner, although the respondent issued the recruitment notification in February 2024, the recruitment process has not been completed till date.
4. The petitioner contends that if the recruitment process is not concluded within a year, it would prejudice the rights of the candidates in relation to future vacancies. In this back ground, the petitioner approached the respondent under
the RTI Act, seeking clarification as whether the recruitment was confined only to existing vacancies or included future vacancies also. The respondent did not furnish the information sought for and so the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

The learned counsel for the petitioner prayed that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's online application dated 09.03.2025 and 10.03.2025 seeking the required information on merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
6. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents did not object to the said submission of the petitioner but sought reasonable time to dispose the application.
7. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
8. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and
the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without entering into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent, to furnish the information sought for by the petitioner, through the online application dated 09.03.2025 and 10.03.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
9. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 06.06.2025 dpq Index : Yes /No Speaking Order : Yes/No To
