COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioners on 20.01.2025, wherein, the petitioners have sought for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.M.Jaisingh, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The case of the petitioners is that the subject property was assigned in their favour and they are in possession and enjoyment of the same. They made a representation seeking for patta which was not considered and hence, the present writ petitions have been filed before this Court.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader produced the written instructions received from the second respondent. The second respondent has already 2/4

considered the representation made by the petitioners and is in the process of passing an order which will be conveyed to the petitioners within the time frame fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to convey the decision to the petitioners, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. These writ petitions are disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
