2.Heard Mr.M.Ravi, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner. Though respondent has been served and their name is printed in the cause list, non appears for the respondent.

3.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to sanction the educational loan, based on the application given by the petitioner dated 11.12.2014. 4.In the light of limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, the respondent Bank is directed to take a decision on the petitioner's application for grant of educational loan in accordance with the guidelines, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
