ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by M.S.Engineers represented by its Managing Partner seeking a mandamus directing the Commissioner of Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation, Coimbatore to consider the pending application of the petitioner dated 2.6.2015 for renewal of registration as Class-I contractor for the year 2015-16.

2. Mr.R.Sivakumar, learned counsel for the respondent submitted that in view of the charge memo issued to the petitioner, the respondent has taken time.

3. But this Court is not willing to go into the correctness of the charges and other issues, as the application of the petitioner is pending for quite some time. Hence this Court, without going to the merits of the matter, hereby directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
