This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 15.10.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for survey of the property for demarcation of boundaries.
2. Heard Mr.V.Gunasekar, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for first respondent and Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate appearing for second respondent.
3. The petitioner is placing reliance upon the registered sale deed dated 12.03.2020 registered as document No.1162 of 2020 in the name of his father. The petitioner is also placing reliance upon the settlement deed dated 18.07.2024 registered as document No.4775 of 2/4
2024 executed in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner submitted an application on 15.10.2024 after paying the necessary charges for survey and demarcation of boundaries. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 15.10.2024 and conduct the survey based on the title document and demarcate the boundaries. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any rival claims/interested parties, the survey shall be conducted in their presence.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
