Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records pertaining to Memo No.08/BCDFGISSSV/2022 dated 06.02.2022 on the file of the second respondent herein and set aside the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's son Dillidurai @ Dilli, Son of Kumar, aged 20 years, now confined in the Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Memo B.C.D.F.G.I.S..S.S.V.No.08/2022 dated 06.02.2022 detaining her son as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by

its order in G.O.Rt.No.3031, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 23.05.2022 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
