Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records connected with the impugned notice issued by the respondent in Na.Ka.No.108/2018/A2 dated 21.03.2022 and quash the same as illegal and subsequently directing the respondent to grant waiver of yearly lease amount payable by the petitioner during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown period from 2020 to 2021.

Ms.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

2. Though the petitioner has challenged the impugned notice dated 21.03.2022 issued by the respondent/commissioner, Thittakudi Municipality, it is noticed that the petitioner has also replied to the notice on 11.04.2022. The reply/representation of the petitioner appears to have not been disposed by the respondent till date. Considering the same, I am not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition for any positive direction.

This Writ Petition is disposed by directing the respondent/commissioner, Thittakudi Municipality, to pass appropriate orders on the reply/representation dated 11.04.2022 of the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state, the petitioner shall be heard before the final orders are passed by the respondent. No costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
