O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed directing the respondent to issue legal heir certificate to the petitioner based on his representation dated 15.04.2021.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father, viz., G.Mariya Ambrose and one G.Mariya Lucas are own brothers. The said G.Mariya Lucas and his wife, viz., Ranjitham had no issues. Therefore, they adopted the petitioner as a son. After their demise, the petitioner had made a representation dated 15.04.2021 to the respondent for issuance of legal heir certificate, but as it did not evoke any response, it has necessitated the filing of this Writ Petition.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.04.2021 after issuance of notice to the petitioner and other counter parties, if any and after giving opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of. 2/4

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
