O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to subject property by considering the application submitted by the petitioner on 18.10.2025.
2. When the matter came up for hearing on 08.04.2025, this Court passed the following order:
"Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for respondents. 2.Learned Additional Government Pleader is directed to take instructions on the communication made by the second respondent to the first respondent during February 2025 and the subsequent development in this case pertaining to the online application submitted by the petitioner seeking for issuance of patta in his name.
Post this writ petition at the end of the motion list on 22.04.2025."
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned 2/5
Additional Government Pleader produced the written instructions received from the first respondent. On going through the same, it is seen that apart from the petitioner, seven other persons had also submitted application seeking for patta and enquiry has been fixed on 25.04.2025 at 3:00 pm in the office of the first respondent.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that final orders will be passed within the time frame fixed by this Court.
5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, and considering the materials placed before this Court and taking note of the fact that the enquiry is going to be conducted by the DRO in the office of the first respondent from 25.04.2025, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. This writ petition is disposed of with the above terms. There shall 3/5
be no order as to costs.
