This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.1139 of 2020 on the file of the 1st respondent police on the ground that there is no material to proceed with the investigation.

2. The Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the 1st respondent states that since investigation has disclosed materials for offences under Section 294(b), 448, 506(2) of I.P.C and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and hence, final report filed and same taken on file by the Judicial Magistrate, Uthiramerur in C.C.No.29 of 2024.

3. In view of the above fact nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 03.06.2024 Index : Yes/No.
