O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondents to transfer the investigation pending in Crime No.67 of 2020 on the file of the 2nd respondent. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that even on the date of occurrence, the complaint was lodged and the same was not taken for registration by the 2nd respondent. Hence, this matter was referred before the Tahsildar and other higher officials and subsequently, the FIR has been registered. There are so many eye-witnesses seen the occurrences on 11.03.2020, even then the 2nd respondent did not investigate the crime and simply kept the FIR in dark. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there are totally twenty one accused, in which most of the accused persons were arrested and remanded to judicial custody including the 1st accused. They have to arrest the other accused and they are tracing out then. In these circumstances, if the investigation is transferred to another agency, it would spoil entire investigation.

4.Considering the above facts and circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within the period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The 1st respondent is directed to monitor the investigation done by the 2nd respondent.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
