Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the revision petition submitted by the petitioner dated 29.05.2015 within a time frame and consequently direct the respondents to revise the seniority of the person appointed to the post of Assistant on 01.12.2010 in the 3rd respondent bank and to consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Manager on that basis.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the revision petition dated 29.05.2015 preferred by the petitioner under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Societies Act. Hence, I am of the view that no notice is necessary to the third respondent for disposing the writ petition.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to pass orders on the revision petition filed by the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner. In case, the order, which is to be passed would affect any other person, the second respondent is directed to hear such person also. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
