This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report within the stipulated time prescribed by this Hon'ble Court and to take necessary action to include the name of the said Rubachandran as accused in Crime No.1184 of 2014 pending investigation before the respondent police according to law.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.
3. It is seen that police investigation in crime No.1184 of 2014 under Section 174 Cr.P.C is going on. The respondent police is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation and after serving a copy of the report to the de facto complainant, file the same before the Tahsildar who shall forward the same to the jurisdictional Magistrate, so that the de facto complainant can exercise her right to file a protest application.
