This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the complaint given by the Government servant on the premise that the defacto complainant in this case was the aggressor and the complaint given against him has not been registered, whereas the counter complaint with false allegations was registered and taken up for investigation. 2.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the complaint was given by one Arumugam, Country Planning Officer. Statement of Nattan and Lakshmi Nattan narrates the overt act of the accused. Since the land belongs to a temple, without getting permission from HR & CE, the petitioners have constructed the temple. When the same was questioned, dispute arose, therefore, the complaint is registered.

This is a groundless petition filed by the petitioner to quash the complaint against him, this Court finds no reason to entertain this 2/5

petition. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed.
