O R D E R
The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 & 3 to consider and take action on the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2014 within a time frame.
2. Mr.M.Santhanaraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given his representation as early as on 15.11.2014 seeking for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the respondents 4 to 9, the 2nd respondent has not disposed of the same yet.
3. Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation within a period of twelve weeks, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 15.11.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, including the respondents 4 to 9, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
