ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to cancel the patta standing in the name of the respondents 5 to 10 for the properties morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 24.12.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 5 to 10 in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 5 to 10 is dispensed with by this Court. Page No.2 of 6

3. As seen from the documents filed along with this writ petition, proceedings has already been initiated by the 3rd respondent based on the petitioner's representation, dated 24.12.2025 seeking cancellation of patta standing in the name of the respondents 5 to 19 for the subject properties.

4. No prejudice would be caused to any of the parties, if a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation, dated 24.12.2025 referred to supra, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 to 10 and any other party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, Page No.3 of 6

on the petitioner's representation, dated 24.12.2025 seeking cancellation of patta standing in the name of the respondents 5 to 10 in respect of the properties morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing the objections, if any, from the respondents 5 to 10 and any other party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
