This application has been filed to condone the delay of 2296 days in filing the written statement of the fifth defendant and memo adopting the said written statement filed on behalf of the second, third, fourth, sixth and seventh defendants, had come up before this Court on 20.12.2016. On which date, a conditional order was passed directing the applicants to pay a sum of Rs.2,000/- to the Hon'ble Chief Justice Relief Fund. 2 .

Today, a receipt and memo has been filed signifying compliance. Consequently, A.No. 6508 of 2016 is allowed and the written statement of the fifth defendant and memo adopting the written statement filed on behalf of the second, third, fourth, sixth and seventh defendants are taken on record.
