This miscellaneous petition has been filed to condone the delay of 158 days in representing the appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Though caveat petition has been filed by the respondents, they are not present before this Court.

3. Though the delay is huge, taking into consideration the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay may be condoned, however, on payment of cost.

4. Accordingly, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) by the petitioner to the Tamilnadu Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, on or before 05.11.2024.

5. On payment of cost, the Registry is directed to number the appeal and post it for admission on 06.11.2024, if the same is otherwise in order.

6. If the cost is not paid on or before 05.11.2024, this C.M.P. stands dismissed without further reference to this Court.
