Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the 3rd and 4th respondents authorities to remove the encroachment made by the private respondents herein in the light of G.O.Ms.No.64 dated 08.02.2022 after conducting proper enquiry on the representation dated 22.03.2023 made by the petitioner.

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.P.Rajadurai, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondent 4.

2. Learned State Government Pleader submits that the subject writ property would be surveyed within a period of four months from today and upon survey, if any encroachment is observed, immediate action would be taken, in accordance with law, to remove the encroachment.
