O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case, on the complaint dated 23.04.2016, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the petitioner's father Thirunavukarasu had borrowed money on pronote from one Mahendiren, and that, there are civil suits instituted by the said Mahendiran. In the meantime, Thirunavukarasu died. Now, it is alleged by the petitioner that the said Mahendiran has put up a board as if the property is for sale.

4. The dispute essentially appears to be civil in nature. But, the petitioner has stated that on 22.04.2016, the said Mahendiran and his wife had threatened the petitioner. In this regard, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.143 of 2016.

5. The respondent-Police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR.No.143 of 2016, and to see whether the allegations with regard to the incident on 22.04.2016 at 12.40 pm. is true, and take action in accordance with law. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
