This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to pay the interest to the petitioner at the rate of general provident fund, for the arrears of enhanced subsistence allowance since 2012.

3. This case was listed earlier on 31.10.2023 but there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Thereby, this petition is listed 2/4

today under the caption "For Dismissal" and even today there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that the cause does not survive any more for the petitioner and that being the reason, the petitioner is not intending to prosecute the case.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
