By consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner claims to be the Dharmakartha of Sri Thulukanthaman Koil situated at Durikaiamman koil street, Palamathur village, Maduranthakam Taluk, Kancheepuram District. He submitted a representation dated 29.5.2015 to the 2nd respondent seeking permission to conduct a cultural programme in the temple festival, which includes song and dance programme to be held on 26.6.2015. Since the petitioner has not been favoured with any response, he came forward before this Court with the present writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in the event of permission granted by the respondents, there would not be any law and order problem and obscenity and vulgarity will not be there and prays for appropriate orders.
4. Heard the submissions of Mr.N.Roofus Abraham, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
5. This Court, in the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the representation dated 29.5.2015 made by the petitioner, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.5.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law on or before 24.6.2015 and the 2nd respondent shall also communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
6. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. However, there is no order as to costs.
