O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to Respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection for the demolition of the Petitioner's dilapidated property, measuring 2300 sq. ft., located at No. 89, New No. 4-87/A, Old No. 87, New No. 4-7/84, Old No. 86, New No. 4-9/83, Old No. 85, Vathlagundu, Arumugam Nagar, adjacent to No. 19, Friends Avenue, Razack Garden, Arumbakkam, Chennai - 600 106, bearing Survey No. 161. The demolition is to be carried out pursuant to the order of this Court in C.R.P. No. 4378 of 2024 dated 06.12.2024, which is in connection with E.P. No. 175 of 1991 in Ejectment Suit No. 44 of 1989, pending before the learned Registrar, Small Causes Court.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Without delving into the merits of the case, the second respondent is hereby directed to conduct enquiry on the representation submitted by the petitioner after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties and pass orders on merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
