ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to release the Family Welfare Fund Amount of Rs.50,000/- along with applicable interest, based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2025.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he was working as a Noon Meal Organiser under the second respondent from the year 1989 and retired on 30.06.2013 on attaining the age of superannuation. However, the Family Welfare Fund amount of Rs50,000/- has not been disbursed on account of a shortage assessed during Audit. The grievance of the petitioner is that during the relevant period of such shortage, he was not working in the said place. Though the petitioner submitted a detailed representation to the second respondent, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present petition.
3. Heard the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent.
4. It is informed that the matter requires consideration by the second respondent.
5. In view of the limited relief sought in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two(2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is allowed. No costs. 26-03-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order MRP To
