ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 15.03.2022.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.

On perusal of the petitioner's representation revealed that the petitioner had joined in the co-operative society as Senior Clerk on 02.05.1991. At the time of appointment, his date of birth was given as 09.07.1962 as per the school records. Later he came to understand that his original date of birth is 13.08.1964. Therefore, he made representation before the respondents to correct his date of birth in the service records.

It is seen that under the Co-operative Society Act, there is no provision to correct the date of birth in the service record. That apart, he submitted the representation at fag end of his service. Therefore, the representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered and the writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed. 5.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no orders as to costs.
