Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to cause release and deliver the 12 Kgs of Gold Bullion imported on 22.08.2014, under Foreign Trade Policy 20042009 to imports by units functioning at MEPZ under the scheme to reexport with value addition as the detention of the goods is illegal and contrary to the police in the scheme above referred to.
