ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to disburse the monthly salary of the petitioner for the month of May, 2020 and for subsequent period in which the petitioner could not able to attend duty.
2. It is seen from the records that the petitioner was initially appointed as a Junior Chemist at the first respondent and he is still working. While that be so, during Covid-19 lockdown, the petitioner could not able to attend the office of the respondents since he went to his native place and he would not able to return to the duty place. After Covid-19 pandemic, the Government issued various orders in order to regularize the Covid-19 pandemic period.
3. In view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider the request made by the petitioner in the light of the G.O. (MS) No.304, Revenue and Disaster Management (DM - II) Department, dated 17.06.2020 and G.O. (MS) No.62, Revenue and Disaster Management [DM IV (1)] 2/4
Department, dated 13.02.2023, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. In view of the above said order, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs.
