O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings dated 11.08.2017 issued by the third respondent wherein, a revision of seniority of Photographers, Senior Photographic Attendants and Junior Photographic Attendants.

2. During the course of hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents has placed a copy of the proceedings of the Additional Director General of Police, State Crime Records Bureau, Chennai dated 23.12.2024 and would submit that the earlier seniority list was revised based on marks secured by them.

3. In view of the revision of the seniority list, vide proceedings dated 23.12.2024, in our considered view, no further adjudication is required in the present writ petition.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to the notice of the Court that this Court by order dated 04.06.2018, it is made it clear that any promotion given shall be subject to the result of the writ petition. It is needless to say that the respondents shall take further action for effecting promotion to the petitioner in the light of the order dated 04.06.2018 passed by this Court. 3/5

5. With the above, this Writ Petition is closed.

6. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
