This Criminal original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that there is a dispute between the petitioner with his wife and mother in law. There was matrimonial dispute between them. Therefore, a divorce petition was filed by the wife of the petitioner in H.M.O.P.197 of 2018 which is pending on the file of the Family Court, Tiruvallur.
4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also that it is a matrimonial dispute, this Court directs the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. If at all any cognizable offence is meted out as against the petitioner, the respondent is at liberty to take necessary action against them.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
