Respondents Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of habeas corpus calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order of detention passed by the second respondent in D.O.No.37/2020-C2 dated 12.05.2020 and set aside the same, consequently direct the respondents to produce the detenu Naveen, male, aged 24 years, S/o.Alex @ Alexsandar, now confined in Central Prison, Vellore before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in D.O.No.37/2020-C2, dated 12.05.2020, detaining his son under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.2888 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 06.07.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
