Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of habeas corpus calling for the records relating to the impugned order of detention in C3/D.O.No.56/2020 dated 16.05.2020 passed by the 2nd Respondent under Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu namely Sakthivel, the husband of the petitioner, now confined in Central Prison, Cuddalore, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C3/D.O.No.56/2020 dated 16.05.2020, detaining her husband under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.2892 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 06.07.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
