This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to cause proper and fair investigation sequel to FIR No.395 of 2015 dated 21.02.2015 leading to the nature of death of the son of the petitioner, E. Prabakaran and direct the respondents 3 and 4 jointly and severally to adequately compensate the petitioner within the time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

When the matter is taken up, the respondent-police, Ms.Parama Keerthi, Sub Inspector of Police, T-16 Nazarathpet Police
Station appeared, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents are present before this Court and submitted that the matter has been settled out of Court and the petitioner has received a compensation of Rs.10 lakhs.

The learned counsel for the petitioner also submitted that the matter has been settled and the compensation of Rs.10 lakhs by way of demand draft has been received.

Recording the same, this Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
