O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the sum of Rs.1,60,803/- due to the Petitioner as claimed in his representation dated 19.11.2019 with interest.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner was working as Noon Meal Organiser in Panchyat Union Elementary School, Madampatti, Palacode Block, Dharmapuri District and he retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation. During his tenure as Noon Meal Organiser at different places at Palacode Block, he spent money for serving noon meal to the children and he has produced the necessary bill. Thereafter, he made a representation dated 19.11.2019 to the respondents to refund the said amount. But the said representation has not been

considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed the instant writ petition before this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2019 would be considered and pass appropriate orders by the concerned authority.

4. When the matter came up for hearing on 06.06.2022, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 2nd respondent seeks time to get instructions. However, there is no instructions from the 2nd respondent.

5. Considering the limited scope of prayer and without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
