ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 417 and 420 of IPC, in Crime No.3 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant loved each other and the petitioner had sexual intercourse with the defacto complainant on the promise that he would marry her. Subsequently, the petitioner refused to marry her. Hence, a case has been registered against the petitioner.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the petitioner and the defacto complainant loved each other and the petitioner had sexual intercourse with the defacto complainant on the promise that he would marry her. Subsequently, the petitioner refused to marry her. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the fact that the petitioner has involved in very serious offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
