Respondents in all WPs Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writs of Mandamus, directing the respondents to act upon the representation issued on behalf of the petitioner dated 16.02.2016 and 12.03.2016 and consequently direct the issuance of the Auto Rickshaw permits for the petitioners in accordance with law.

Ramesh AGP COMMON ORDER The petitioners have filed the above writ petitions to issue writs of Mandamus, directing the respondents to act upon the representations issued on behalf of the petitioners dated 16.02.2016 and 12.03.2016 and consequently direct the issuance of the Auto Rickshaw permits for the petitioner in accordance with law.
2. In identical matters, in W.P Nos.12435 of 2016 etc., batch dated 04.04.2016, this Court directed the second respondent to receive the applications of the petitioners and consider the same and pass appropriate orders on the respective applications of the petitioners for grant of Autorickshaw permit, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. Mr.M.S. Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' applications in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioners, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the second respondent to receive the applications of the petitioners
and consider the same and pass appropriate orders on the respective applications of the petitioners for grant of Autorickshaw permit, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of submission of the applications by the petitioners. The petitioners are directed to submit their applications within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With these observations, all the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
