Heard Mr.V.Karnan, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.Gunaraj, learned Standing Counsel accepting notice for the respondent and with their consent the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to give electricity connection to the house which the petitioner claims that he is the owner. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation on 02.09.2015.

3.As rightly pointed out by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Board, if a person seeks for electricity connection, he should apply in the proper format and remit necessary fees and then only the Application would be considered in accordance with law. Therefore, no useful purpose would be served to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Thus, the Writ Petition is disposed of, giving liberty to the petitioner to apply in the proper format and if it is done, the same shall be considered by the respondent in accordance with law. No costs.
