This matter is taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing mode.

2. Mr.N.Ramesh, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. This writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus to direct the respondents to restore the metro water supply to the petitioner's house at No.7, (Old No.5) Medavakkam Tank Road, Ramalingapuram, Chennai-12.

4. Heard both sides.

5. The grievance of the petitioner is that water connection given to the petitioner's premises till December 2019 was abruptly cut after the said period without any reason. Therefore, he has made complaints before the authorities on 18.01.2020, 20.04.2020, 09.05.2020 and 18.05.2020. It is stated that those complaints have not been considered so far.

6. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, the respondents herein are directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner made through his complaints as stated supra and take appropriate action within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
