The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent-police to file charge sheet pursuant to Crime No.125 of 2014 on the file of the respondent-police.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police against one Raji chettiar and 50 others for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 436, 506(ii) IPC and 7 r/w 25(1-A) Indian Arms Act 3,4 TNPPD Act and 9(1-b) Explosive Substance Act and the same was registered in Crime No.125 of 2014 on 29.04.2014. But, till date final report was not filed. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the entire village people have involved themselves in the case in Crime No.125 of 2014 and the respondent-police is yet to arrest more than 15 persons and hence, he opposed to grant specific time limit for completion of investigation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent-police is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.125 of 2014 pending on his file and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible.
