ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) The application of the petitioner for appointment as Xerox Operator in the Tamil Nadu Judicial Service was rejected on the ground that experience certificate was not produced.

2. Mr.R.Subramanian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner had, in fact, obtained an experience certificate on 11.03.2025. Unfortunately for the petitioner, the notification issued calling for applications very clearly provides that certificate must have been obtained on the date of the notification or prior to the date of the 2/5

notification. The Certificate that is relied upon by the learned counsel for the petitioner has been obtained after the date of the rejection of his candidature, which is on 07.03.2025.

3. Hence the candidature of the petitioner could not have been considered and we are unable to fault the appointing Authority for having rejected the application of the petitioner on the ground that it is not accompanied by a proper experience certificate.

4. Hence we see no merit in the Writ Petition, the Writ Petition fails and it is accordingly dismissed. There shall no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. (R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) (G. ARUL MURUGAN, J.) 20.03.2025 jv Index: No Speaking order 3/5
