Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus, to call for the records of the Respondent pertaining to their impugned order vide no.Edn.1/MD/MS/July/2017 dated 29.07.2017 for final counselling with ST Roaster point No.09 held on 31.07.2017 for admission to MD/MS courses for 2017 July session and quash the same and to direct the respondent to allot the available vacant seat in MD General Medicine to the Petitioner as per his entitlement on general merit list. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition, to call for the records of the respondent pertaining to their impugned order vide No.Edn.1/MD/MS/July/2017 dated 29.07.2017 for final counselling with ST Roaster point No.09 held on 31.07.2017 for admission to MD/MS courses for 2017 July session and quash the same and to direct the respondent to allot the available vacant seat in MD General Medicine to the Petitioner as per his entitlement on general merit list.

2.When the matter is pending before this Court, the petitioner got admission at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, in MD Pathology. The learned counsel for the petitioner produced the communication sent by the institute dated 15.12.2017, where it is stated that the petitioner has been provisionally selected for the first year junior resident for MD/MS Pathology. Since the petitioner has already been selected for the Post Graduate Course, the present Writ Petition is liable to be closed.

3.Accordingly, recording the above fact, this Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
