Respondents PRAYER:- Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records leading to the detention of the petitioner's husband Vinothkumar s/o.Jayapal, aged about 32 years, who is presently lodged at Central Prison, Vellore at Vellore and has been detained under Act 14/82 as a "Goonda" vide detention order dated 26.03.2021 made in D.No.22/2021-C2 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents herein to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] The petitioner is the wife of the detenu viz., Vinothkumar s/o.Jayapal, aged about 32 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in D.No.22/2021-C2 dated 26.03.2021, holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in D.No.22/2021-C2 dated 26.03.2021, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.2572, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 09.06.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
