ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to allot shops to the members of the petitioner Sangam in the Commercial Complex at Broadway Bus Stand.

2.According to the petitioner Sangam, their members are presently street vendors in the Broadway Bus Stand complex. The petitioner claims that a Commercial Complex is being constructed at the Broadway Bus Stand. The petitioner seeks for allotment of shops in the said complex at Broadway Bus Stand or anywhere nearby. The petitioner had given representations on 19.01.2024 and 05.02.2026 to the respondents for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.S.Gopinathan, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representations.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representations dated 19.01.2024 and 05.02.2026 seeking for allotment of shops to the members of the petitioner Sangam in the Commercial Complex at Broadway Bus Stand or anywhere nearby, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
