ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to rectify the mistakes committed by the revenue officials in the land of the petitioner in S.No.3/11 and 3/3 situated at Nagavaram Village, Tindivanam Taluk, Villupuram District and to make correct extent of lands in all revenue records including patta of the petitioner.
2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation dated 15.12.2020 to the 1st respondent, seeking to rectify the mistakes committed by the revenue officials in respect of the property morefully described in the prayer to this petition and to make correct extent of
lands in all revenue records including patta of the petitioner. Though the 2nd respondent directed the 3rd respondent to conduct enquiry and to take action on the petitioner's representation, no action has been taken till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 15.12.2020 will be considered within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 5.Considering the submission made by both parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 4th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2020 on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be carried out by the 4th respondent within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case, the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2020 is not available with the respondents, the same shall be intimated to the petitioner immediately and in such case, the petitioner shall make fresh representation.
