ORDER

(DELIVERED BY K.RAVICHANDRABAABU, J.) This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 1.5.09, passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal in O.A. No.419/2002, wherein and whereby the petitioners herein were directed to promote the private respondents herein as Scientists "B" with retrospective effect from 1997-1998, i.e., the time when the vacancies arose and further by observing that the private respondents are eligible to be promoted with all consequential benefits.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for final disposal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that in view of the subsequent development, viz., passing of Office Order No.379/2010 dated 4.5.2010, issued by the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India, promoting the private respondents herein with effect from 1.1.1991, nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication any further as larger relief has been granted by virtue of the above said order passed by the Department itself in pursuance of the order passed by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. A copy of the Office Order No.379/2010 dated 4.5.2010, issued by the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India, is also produced before this Court.

3. In the above circumstances, recording the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners this writ petition is disposed of as no further order is necessary to be passed in this writ petition in view of the fact that the private respondents were granted larger relief by the Central Government than the one granted by the Tribunal.
