This petition has been filed to modify the satisfaction court to furnish bond before the Metropolitan Magistrate Court-XIV, Chennai instead of learned Judicial Magistrate Court-III, Tirupattur, Vellore District in Crl.OP.No.5432 of 2023 dated 16.03.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 447, 294(b), 323, 324, 506(ii) of IPC also under Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act in Cr.No.8 of 2022. He was granted bail on 16.03.2023 and this Court while granting bail the petitioner was ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest on his appearance, within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the Order copy made ready before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.3, Tirupattur, Vellore District. He would further submit that the petitioner is residing with his mother aged about 82 years, wife and two young boys. The petitioner has to periodically visit various doctors for regular medical treatment for his mother and wife which makes it very difficult for the petitioner to travel to Tirupattur and comply with the conditions as imposed on him Hence, he would seek modify the said condition. 1/3

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the condition imposed as against the petitioner is modified to the effect that " the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest on his appearance, within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the Order copy made ready before the Metropolitan Magistrate Court-XIV, Chennai ....". The other conditions shall remain unaltered. 5.With the above directions, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
