2. The case of the petitioner is that she is the Proprietrix of the Unit which makes water bottles. The Unit does not involve any manufacturing process and there is no necessity for the usage of water. Even bore well is not required. Similarly, there will be no noise or air pollution and there is no need for the petitioner to get consent from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board. But when the petitioner approached the Tamilnadu Electricity Board, they advised that the petitioner should obtain consent from the respondent Board. Hence, the petitioner made an application for consent before the respondent Board on 12.04.2018. Since the said application has not yet been considered so far by the respondent Board, this writ petition has been filed.
3. Today, when the matter is taken for consideration, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent Board submitted that the application filed by the petitioner will be considered and necessary orders will be passed on or before 31.05.2018.
4. Recording the above said submission, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
