This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Ceritorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the issuance of the impugned notice dated 13.01.2015 having reference Na.Ka.No.3269/2014/A3 issued by the 1st respondent and quash the same and consequently directs the 1st respondent to permit the petitioner to continue as the President of the Athipuliyur Village Panchayat,

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous since the tenure period of the petitioner got over in the year 2016. Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.

In view of the above submission, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
